Phyllis Jean Newhouse Jones Pauline, 72, of Charleston, passed away April 5 2017.
She was born May 14, 1944, in Charleston, to the late Cleo and Vada Burns Newhouse.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Smith.
Phyllis was a lifelong member of the Elk River Church of the Nazarene. She was the co-founder of Needles Ministry, receiving the distinguish service award, and served in many ministries for the church. She was a retired teller at Bank of WV and One Valley Bank.
Left to cherish Phyllis' memory is her loving family, husband and best friend, David Pauline Sr.; and her beloved dog "Sadie;" children, Allan Jones, Ann Marie (Frank) Runion, David (Teresa) Pauline Jr., Dallas (Cindy) Pauline; grandchildren, Abigail "Pearl" Jones, Benjamin "Mr. Ben" Jones, Dallas Keith Pauline II, Jessie Pauline; great-grandchild, Dallas "Lilman" Pauline; sisters and brothers, Nancy, Linda, Eddie (Tonya), Cathy (Matt); and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 8, at Elk River Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Randy Ledsome officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, at the church.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hubbard Hospice House, for the care they gave during her brief stay with them.
