Amanda Dawn Burdette Rankin
Amanda Dawn Burdette Rankin, 35, of Charleston, WV ended her journey on Monday, July 26th, 2021. She was proceeded in death by her father Roger L Burdette Sr. who went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2016. Amanda leaves behind her five children: Airiana N O’Connor (Hunter O’Connor) of Charleston, Isaiah N Banks of Jackson County, Xxavion Burdette, Shawn Burdette, and JD Burdette. Amanda also leaves behind her mother, Cynthia D Legg (Step father Johnny Legg) of Charleston, step mother Kay Burdette of South Charleston, her brother Roger L Burdette Jr. (Susan Burdette) of Charleston, her sister Raina J Burdette of Jackson County, one nephew and four nieces: Madison G Lacy of Jackson County, Paris Harper of Nitro, Jordan Burdette, Kinsley Burdette, Avery Burdette all of Charleston. Also surviving is her grandmother Charlotte Holmes of Elkview, Reba Burdette of Sissonville, she also leaves behind several cousins, aunts, and uncles, and many friends. The service will be held at Elk Funeral Home Friday, July 30th, at 2:00 PM. Reverend Robbie Holmes and Reverend Rob Legg will be officiating. Online condolences may be left at elkfuneralhome.com
