Obituary
Edra Lou Johnson, 67, of Charleston, passed away, June 28, 2022, after a tragic accident.
Edra was born February 11, 1955, in Gassaway, WV, to the late James Erving and Anna Lee James Johnson.
She was a cat lover having rescued many cats and currently caring 14 fur babies at the time of her death.
Edra is survived by her loving family, niece, Kimberly (Shane) Gustafson, sister, Sandi (Chuck) Callen, brothers, Kerry Johnson, James “Whistle” (Cynthia) Johnson, several other nieces and nephews and great nieces & nephews, also many friends and neighbors who loved her very much.
A celebration of he life will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday,July 12, 2022 at Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston,WV 25302, with Reverend John Prichard officiating. Burial will be private in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers family suggests donations to Bobbie Spry, 200 Althia St. Charleston, WV 25302, to help care for her fur babies that she is looking for homes for.
