Obituary
Stephen Lee Pendleton, 65, of Elkview, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at CAMC General Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Beckley, West Virginia to the late Mason Pendleton and Peggy McClure-Pendleton.
Stephen served in the Marine Corp and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, Parris Island and Cherry Point, NC. After his discharge, he worked as a carpenter.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Pendleton-Davis (Junior Pritchard) of Cove City, North Carolina; Son, Jessie Pendleton (Katrina) of Dover Fort Barnwell, North Carolina;
Sister, Debbie Pendleton-Rhodes (Rodger) of Elkview, West Virgnia; Grandchildren, Tabitha and Noah Harrison and Nicholas and Courtney Davis of Cove City, North Carolina.
As per Stephen's request, he will be cremated and a military service will be held privately at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV.
